King of the Battlefield - Singapore Artillery

In contrast to the Thai Artillery front, here is a quick look at Singapore's Artillery. It is without doubt that Singapore's Artillery has the most advanced Artillery systems in the region. Particularly in Battlefield Management and Fire control Systems. Singapore invest, designs and develops its own 155mm guns. They have training facilities and firing ranges in Taiwan, Brunei, Australia.

Singapore recognises Artillery as the King of the battlefield.

Be that as it may, battles are fought and won not because of technology and sheer firepower, but fire and manoeuvre. Concentrations, speed, timings and surprise are far superior factors to modernity. The  low tech North Vietnam army defeated the powerful French and later the Americans. The Argentinian army out gunned the British during the Falkland War, but the final results spoke for itself.
